One trailer, 90 seconds — produced in 7 days
After winning the pitch, we had just 7 days to conceive and produce a trailer on the topic of mobility for the City of Ludwigsburg — the opening act for a major event at the MHP Arena.
Mobility for Ludwigsburg
Fine dust, endless traffic jams and Stuttgart’s daily commuter madness spill all the way over to Ludwigsburg. Demand for attractive public transport alternatives keeps growing, and the long-debated Ludwigsburg light rail is back in focus. For a major public event at the MHP Arena — with more than 600 invited guests — the client wanted to compare the different light rail systems.
A 90-second trailer was to open the event — the challenge: just 7 days for concept and production. With a 2D motion design film — a mix of infographics, photo collages and live footage — we quickly won the client over, secured the pitch and, thanks to our great team, conjured up a first-class result in record time. The Lord Mayor praised the film, and the City of Ludwigsburg was more than satisfied.
“A happy client is happy to return”
Less than four weeks later, the client commissioned us to develop the trailer further. This time the topics were to be examined in more depth, with 3D simulations adding a real-world dimension.
The collage style and scenes from the original trailer were reused to create a clear link to its predecessor. At the same time, the new trailer took a closer look at the different transport systems and dug deeper into the subject matter. 3D simulations painted a vivid picture of public transport in Ludwigsburg.
The result
The result is an informative trailer that compares the possible transport concepts on equal terms — without ever feeling dry or dull. The client is happy and praised the film: “We are very pleased with the final version and know that you made quite a lot possible here!” We look forward to continuing our collaboration with the City of Ludwigsburg.
